American Horror Story: Freak Show alums say goodbye to one of their own today, in sad news from Los Angeles.
Thursday, actor Ben Woolf – most recently known for his role as Meep in the latest season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story series – suffered critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Hollywood. He spent the weekend sedated, and suffered a fatal stroke Monday afternoon.
Ben was 34 years old and in addition to AHS: Freak Show as well as the inaugural season of American Horror Story, he had appeared in several independent films in character capacity as well as stunt work. He worked as a preschool teacher when he was not pursuing acting jobs.
TMZ reports that Ben’s organs are being donated and will help approximately 50 people.
