Avengers opens at 12:01am tonight for America, but it has been playing for the last week in several other countries and doing very, very well.
In fact, at $281.1 million (and counting!) the Avengers film has already surpassed the foreign box office totals for the solo heroes films except for Iron Man 2, which it will pass very soon.
- Iron Man – $267 Million
- Iron Man 2 – $311.5 Million
- Thor: $268 Million
- Captain America: $192 Million
