In a world like nothing else, there exist a race of sentient beings, beings who can transform at will from vehicles into…..superheros?! Presumably to piggyback off the wildly popular Avengers movie, Hasbro will be releasing Transformers: Mech Machines later this year which see our favorite Avengers transforming into jets, cars, and offroad trucks. (Sadly, no Hank Pym Transformer). While neat, these seem to simply be repaints of figures that were originally released during the Marvel Crossover line. I’m not sure how well they did, but I do know that the Hulk transformed into a tank, which was pretty cool. Check out the rest of the pics after the jump.
I hate to say this, becaus I love transforming things AND the Avengers, but this is just full of dumb. Plus they look terrible! Iron Man is the only decent looking one.
Sweet! I meant to pick these up when they were released the first time and never did. I won’t mind having these on my shelf.
I actually read some posts on the 2005 forums this morning that said that Cap was a really solid figure. May have to check him out when these come to the area. Hulk should be in there somewhere too.
HulkTank is indeed very cool, and hopefully they’ll re-release that rather than the HulkDozer.
