Devil May Cry HD Collection scoring some decent reviews
Imagine for a moment that you are a big name executive and any major game publisher in the whole wide universe. Its been a long day of meetings, coffee breaks, flirting with secretaries, and other dumb executive stuff that I’ll never know about because I made poor life decisions like playing video games all day. *Ahem*. Anyways, your tired but the boss needs one more big idea to make a gazillion dollars by the end of next quarter. Thinking of new properties or listening to developers pitch ideas is soooooo much work… Why not just cash in on an HD collection? Eureka! Package some old games that gamers bought 15 years ago, slap a shiny coat of paint on ‘em and throw them out of the door!
The collections can get old, but Devil May Cry stands as one of my favorite game series of all time. As such, I’m proud to see some good reviews rolling in for it. Yes, some collections are giant wastes of time and money, but several games (certainly not all of them, I”m looking at you DMC2) of the series deserve a good HD paint job and some strolls down memory lane. Pick it up when you can fellow geeks!
Stay tuned for this weeks podcast for more awesomeness and as always leave comments and questions for us!
Here’s some of the Reviews we’ve collected for you:
