Mountain Dew is crossing a bizarre threshold; will you do the Dew?
So, yeah…Doritos-flavored Mountain Dew is apparently a real thing. Well, at least for now.
A Redditor at Kent State University recently posted of his taste testing experience on campus, including the following picture.

The weirdly branded “DEWitos” apparently tasted like ” like orange with a Doritos after taste. It tasted like straight Doritos afterwards though. Weirdest thing I’ve ever drunken.”
Guess what? It’s all real. PepsiCo related to Quartz that, in fact, this is real.
We are always testing out new flavors of Mountain Dew, and giving our fans a voice in helping decide on the next new product has always been important to us. We opened up the DEW flavor vault and gave students a chance to try this Doritos-inspired flavor as part of a small program at colleges and universities.Well, the ultimate question now remains: will you do this Dew?
