EA project manager Kevin O’Leary has stated on twitter that Black Ops 2 looks “tired” and that it should “take a rest”. This is exactly what EA is doing with the battlefield series this year as they are content to continue releasing dlc for Battlefield 3 instead of a full on sequel.
The verbal missles flew like mad last year with competing releases of Activision’s modern warfare 3 and BF3, so the fact that its already starting again seems pretty par for the course on these companies. Regardless of what slings and arrows these two giants throw at each other, gamers will be the real voice (with their sixty bucks and dlc money) on which war game they declare winner.
