Quality stock that could do with a re-boot (Abrahams timeline or not) = The Lexx, Blake’s 7, Hitchhikers Guide (again), Reaper, Babylon 5.
All were flawed by budget or a lack of initial plot direction. All could be done much better with hindsight and affordable special effects.
