First look at Aaron Sorkin’s new HBO project “The Newsroom”
Jared here. If there is one television writer I geek out over more than Joss Whedon, it’s Aaron Sorkin. I’ve been a fan of most everything he’s put out, including “The West Wing”, “Studio 60″, “Sports Night” and the film “The Social Network”.
Now he has a new series hitting HBO, and I can’t wait to see what he can do with the creative freedom afforded him by being on cable. If this first preview tells me anything, it’s that this show has “Multiple Emmy Award Winning Series” written all over it. Even if it has stupid Olivia Munn in it.
AKA "The Deal Geek", Jared currently lives in Florence, AL with his wife, Cassie, and his poodle, Row. An avid Tech, Comics, and TV junkie, he has a vast video library, a sizable toy collection, and a home electronics setup that'd blow your mind. And he didn't pay retail for most of it!
