Here, then Gone: SDCC 2012 Exclusives Sell out in minutes at Hasbrotoyshop.com

2

After some fans spent nearly 3 days refreshing threads at their favorite fandom boards and the exclusives page at hasbrotoyshop, the toy giant’s San Diego Comic Con exclusives went live at 12:10 EST this morning…..with some items lasting only minutes before they were sold out, including the highly coveted Transformers Fall of Cybertron exclusive Bruticus combiner, Hollywood Jem, and GI Joe’s Kim Arashikage in both variants.  Among others to go quickly were the GI Joe Hiss Tank in Transformers Shockwave deco and My Little Pony exclusive Derpy Hooves, though Hasbro itself will not acknowledge the name give to the figure by the large brony fandom for the show.

Were you able to get what you want?  Some items, like zombie Terrocon Cliffjumper and the Avengers Helicarrier, are still up for grabs, but all items are 1 per household.  Do you think that this was done fairly, or did you get cheated out of the item you wanted by time, circumstance, or those things called “jobs”?  Let us know here at JustUs Geeks, and watch for podcast episode 17 later this week!

Fortunately, I was able to order the Star Wars Carbonite 7-pack for myself. Unfortunately, my brother missed out on BOTH Jinx figures. It’s a shame that greedy people rush onto the site to buy things for the SOLE reason of listing on ebay and making a 500% profit and collector’s like my brother are forced to miss out.
