I had the opportunity this week to talk with Noura Jost, a cast member of the upcoming movie The Stream. The Stream stars Rainn Wilson, Mario Lopez (AC Slater, son!), Kelly Rutherford, and Christopher Gorham. Noura plays Lopez’s daughter in the film, set in 1981, and follows the story of five kids obsessed with Star Wars.
More importantly, 80% of the proceeds of this family-friendly film go to the Boys and Girls Club of America. The Stream releases theatrically on October 18th, and plays exclusively in Regal Theaters around the county.
I got the chance to talk with Noura about the movie, her start in the industry, and about her professed love for all things geek.
