What is best in life? If your answer is always “Crush your enemies, drive them out before you, and hear the lamentations of the women,” then we’ve got news for you!
Speaking of Legend of Conan – the newest installment in the franchise based on Robert E. Howard’s eponymous hero – producer/director Chris Morgan had this to say about the upcoming film: “Our tone is a logical extension of the character established in the ’82 film…but 30 years later. When we meet him again, Conan has been many things over the course of his life — a thief, a warrior, a pirate, a king, a legend — and is now an older man. Think Unforgiven…with a sword-wielding barbarian.”
Morgan went on to comment on how everyone involved in the film is a fan, from working on the original film to seeing it in theaters. He went on to tease that three characters from the original film will appear in this one. Production is expected to begin this fall, once Arnold Schwarzenegger is done promoting Terminator: Genysis.
Sounds pretty cool, right? Of all the past roles Arnold could revisit, this one is pretty high on my list. Are you guys pumped for this? Do you think Arnie can bring it again? Tell us what you think is best about this film in the comments.
