“Lost” showrunner writing Batman for new DC Digital comics

20120413-111209.jpg DC Comics announced a slew of new titles today joining their new digital only comic book lineups, the most notable of which is “Smallville: Season 11” which continues the story from the long-running TV series with Clark now in “flights and tights” mode as Superman.

Joining it will be a new Batman series that takes place outside of regular continuity being written by “Lost” co-executive producer Damon Lindelof with art by Jeff Lemiere.

A few other series were announced, including a manga-influenced title featuring Woman Woman and other rotating characters. Read the details at USA Today!

    Any news on when the “digital” continuity and the “mainstream” continuity will crossover? Or is the “digital” continuity just the afterlife…?

    Maybe Bruce died with his parents and his entire time as Batman was his purgatory before meeting his parents in a church to ” move on”?
