Microsoft Executive Accidentally Confirms Xbox 720 in Development
Brian Hall, executive over Windows Live, let it slip during a podcast interview (sadly not ours) that the Xbox 720 is currently in development. Now this isn’t just the most startling thing in the world because who didn’t know that the console was on the drawing board, but Microsoft execs have been very tight lipped on the subject up until now. Here’s the exact quote he said and a video clip of the podcast. Listen between 1:17 and 1:41 for the quote. (thanks wegotlife.com)
“We’ve had Hotmail and operated Hotmail for about sixteen years, we obviously have Exchange, and Outlook, that people use at work. We just decided it was time to do something new and bring the best from each of those and put them together and release it right in time for the new wave of products that we could have coming out with Windows 8 with the new version of Office with the New Windows phone and the new Xbox.”
