New “Batman: Arkham” videogame rumors include Prequel, Justice League

New rumors are swirling around the internets today about the next title in Rocksteady’s Batman video game franchise.

Word is they are looking at making the game a prequel that deals with Batman’s first encounter with The Joker. It would be based on the Silver Age comics of the 50’s that also dealt with Batman meeting other heroes like Superman, Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman to form the Justice League.

The move to involve the Justice League is seen as Warner Bros., who own DC Comics, possibly trying to expand awareness of the more obscure Justice League characters in the public prior to launching a Justice League feature film franchise.

What do you think about this setting for the next Arkham game?  Let us know in the comments or leave us a voicemail at 707-OK-GEEKS and be featured on the podcast!

The only bad thing about it is that Mark Hamill will not be voicing joker. I wonder if Rocksteady will pay him more?
