New “Punisher” short film featuring Ron Perlman and the return of Thomas Jane!
One of the bigger comic-related surprises at San Diego Comic Con was this little Punisher short film, featuring the return of Thomas Jane to the role he played in the 2004 Punisher movie. And the fact that Ron Perlman is along for the ride? Awesome. Warning though: this being Punisher, it’s decidedly R-rated for violence and blood.
“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in — a love letter to Frank Castle and his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.”
