Wow, this guy called the title of the new Star Wars movie….in 2006!
Meet Dan LaLonde, who made a Star Wars fan film back in 2006 titled, you guessed it, The Force Awakens. When interviewed by Yahoo about the incredible coincidence, he said, “My movie is kind of crappy, to be honest, which makes it even more funny. It is pretty awesome, though, to have come up with the title.”
The fifty minute film follows a regular Joe who discovers he has Force sensitivity when he saves his girlfriend from a meteor. They use flashlights for lightsabers, but who hasn’t?
