Marvel comics is set to follow DC’s lead in a soft reboot of their comic book lineup coming this October called Marvel NOW!
So far there has only been one new confirmed title, Uncanny Avengers, which features a mashed up lineup of X-Men and Avengers characters including Captain America, Thor, Rogue, Havok, Scarlet Witch, and Wolverine.
Today however we get news of several comics being canceled to make way for new titles in the reboot. The series that are ending include Fantastic Four, FF, Captain America, Invincible Iron Man, Mighty Thor, Incredible Hulk, New Mutants, Uncanny X-Men and X-Men Legacy.
I currently read almost all of those titles, and I’m a little surprised to see some of them ending. Though they have not announced a new Fantastic Four series yet, you can surely expect them to include Marvel’s first family in a new title somewhere in the Marvel NOW! initiative.
Are any of your favorite titles on the chopping block? Sound off on your thoughts on the relaunch in the comments below!
Im kinda happy to see this happen. I will actually know where to start buying comics
What, no iron man? I was just getting into comics…
So, does this mean that the only time we will see Iron Man is in the Avengers book?
