Sometimes it’s hard to let go, even when you know it’s time. Here are my SPOILER FREE thought’s on the finale of Breaking Bad.

“I am the one who knocks.”

There has never been a character on television that you knew you weren’t supposed to love as much as you did Walter White. He’s a drug lord, he hurts people, and destroys the lives of those closest to him.

This is exactly why you love Walter White.

Hopefully the vast majority of you reading this reaction (along with the rest of the nation) watched tonight’s series finale of AMC’s Breaking Bad. Like I said, no spoilers here, but a lot is finally revealed about the true character of Walter White. Walt finally admits, “I did it for me. I did it all for me.”. So at the very end of all things, Walter White finally admits that it “was fun”.

Breaking Bad has been an excellent series from start to finish, and did one of the best jobs of giving you just the information you needed at the right times, even though sometimes it left you hanging. Every single question was answered in this series final; every one.

The ending was very fitting, and one that I do not disagree with at all. The Sopranos, as I have said, is still my favorite overall series finale, although lots of questions were left unanswered. However, this one is right up there with it.

Thank you for the anticipation, the story, the characters, and the storytelling of these wonderful and tragic characters.
