Over the last few days Apple CEO Tim Cook has been in China visiting meeting with high-profile officials discussing “intellectual property issues”, as well as stopping by an Apple store. Apple has now confirmed that Cook also has visited a new manufacturing division of iPhone at the Foxconn plant. After claiming in a staff email that Apple “care(s) about every worker in our supply chain”, this visit doesn’t really come as any surprise.
It is good to see Cook reaching out to Apple suppliers, especially given the recent issues associated to Foxconn.
