Trailer for “The Dark Knight Returns” animated movie hits the interwebs
The trailer for the upcoming direct-to-DVD animated movie The Dark Knight Returns has hit the internets, and it’s full of Batman goodness.
The movie is based off of Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel of the same name, which is held up as one of the greatest Batman stories of all time and was one of the inspirations of the new Dark Knight Rises movie. It tells the story of an older, grizzled Batman returning to action after being gone for 10 years. It features RoboCop star Peter Weller as the voice of Batman to boot.
The comic is so huge in fact that they split the animated movie into two parts. Here is the trailer for part one, due September 25th.
