Our friends over at TFW2005 and akibahobby.com have shared some pics from the Tokyo International Anime Fair that showcase some more views of the Transformers Prime series and what TakaraTomy has planned for Japan. In the United States, our figures either come as regular deluxe size Transformers (now called Revealers) or voyager sized Transformers (now called Powerizers) which come with a light up weapon. In Japan, these light up weapons have been tossed in favor of minicon partners which transform into the characters weapons. While not show accurate, (yet?) it’s still interesting to see TakaraTomy’s spin on the Prime series. Click here to be taken to TFW2005 and more pics.
