First look at Michonne from “The Walking Dead” Season 3
We have our first look at the fan favorite samurai sword-wielding Michonne from The Walking Dead thanks to Entertainment Weekly.
Comic creator Robert Kirkman says her “personality, her motives, everything that makes Michonne Michonne” will carry over from the comic to the TV show. However…
But like a lot of things on the show, there will be little tweaks and differences here and there. We saw that her introduction is slightly different from how it was in the comic, and her interaction with Andrea is really going to be a really cool addition to the character that I think will get television viewers up to speed, and they’ll get to know her a lot faster than comic book readers did.

They lost me when Shane survived the Atlanta camp.
Michonne is SUPPOSED to be a mystery. The whole thing that makes her intriguing is that we don’t know anything about her. Will they ruin that too, just so the tv audience doesn’t have to work too hard?
Very well put Emily. I haven’t watch TWD since season 1 because of all of the MAJOR plot points that were changed. I feel Kirkman has made the show to be as offensive as possible to his comic followers. Michonne is now just another great character that will be slaughtered by shoddy writing and horrible plotting.
