Time to update: OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.1 is available for Download

The first incremental update to Apple’s new Mountain Lion operating system is available today, addressing several issues users have reported such as decreased battery life. Surprisingly, the update is clocking in at a full 4.34GB… about the size as the initial download!  Hopefully that means several fixes for the big cat.
