iPhone 5 shipping times slip to 3-4 weeks as Apple struggles to meet demand
iPhone 5. Love it or hate it, it’s on track to become the fastest selling tech gadget of all time, having pushed Apple’s stock prices above $700. Today, the tech giant’s online store listed all models of the phone as being unavailable for shipping for 3-4 weeks, a sign that Apple is having trouble meeting the unprecedented demand.
You can still pre-order the phone from Apple, or take a chance at getting one at several retailers that will be selling the phone on Friday, including Apple’s retail stores, where lines are guaranteed to be long, as people have already started lining up, some as early as Monday at the 5th Avenue store in New York.
Are you picking up the iPhone 5? The Geeks would love to know. Leave us a comment and tell us about your experience!

I’m going to wait at least a few weeks and try to pick one up before the Christmas rush starts.
That might be a good idea. Also, every piece of hardware has bugs in the initial shipments. I’m holding off in favor of preordering a Wii U, myself.
