Kinect Star Wars explodes like Alderaan

The reviews are in, folks….and they aren’t pretty.  Kinect Star Wars, the reason I rebought a Kinect in the first place, has arrived as a major let down for Star Wars fans worldwide.  If you had dreams about swinging a lightsaber, force choking Wookies, and punting R2D2 like a metallic space football, you will be in for a big let down as Kinect Star Wars is little more than a loosely strung together collection of Star Wars themed minigames, the most baffling of which is Galactic Dance-Off, which Jared revealed in a post yesterday.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m just going to go grumble in the corner with my collection of pre CGI change Star Wars VHS tapes.

Check out IGN’s review right here, which actually sums up most of my thoughts on the game.

Don’t believe me?  Check out Metacritic.
