Swedish DIY furniture icons Ikea have decided to throw their hats into the home theatre arena in a new way: by producing their own line of HDTVs.

All the IKEA models are full HD 1080p, and will be available with either a black or white finish. Smart TV models include built-in Wi-Fi and an ambient room light sensor. In addition to the Blu-ray player, the system includes a wireless subwoofer, a radio tuner, and USB jacks for connectivity to an iPhone and other smartphones, or MP3 players and iPods.

The TV’s will also include integrated TV-stands/cabinets that, in classic Ikea style, you will have to assemble yourself once you get done stuffing yourself with Swedish Meatballs in Ikea’s restaurant and actually lug the thing home.
