Justice is apparently solved cold.
News is finally coming out about DC and Warner Bros. plan to do combat with the Marvelverse: the Justice League will finally get a movie, but not until 2018.
Greg Silverman, Warner Bros. President of Production, confirmed in a Wall Street Journal interview that not only will Man of Steel 2 basically be Superman/Batman, but director Zack Synder will follow that film up with the silver screen version of the Justice League in 2018.
Silverman says, “It will be a further expansion of the universe. Superman vs. Batman will lead into Justice League.”
But does this move come too late for the DC Universe? Marvel solidified itself as the largest grossing film franchise of all time with Captain America 2, and only looks to expand the lead with the next phase of the Marvelverse.
