“Manufacturing Nightmare” may lead to Wii U launch delay

Rumors are spreading around the internet that Nintendo is having trouble manufacturing their new Wii U console, and that it may lead them to delay the international release until this December.

While Nintendo has yet to officially announce a launch date for the console, rumored to be due to these “manufacturing nightmares”, it HAS said several times that the console is expected to ship at the end of 2012. The Wii U is, supposedly, still on track for a November release in the United States in order to be available for Black Friday shopping.

Perhaps these rumors of setbacks and delays will actually force Nintendo to finally confirm the actual release date? And better yet, the launch price? Stay tuned.
