Microsoft invests $300 Million into Nook e-reader
Even with its own Windows 8 tablets on the horizon, Microsoft is taking preemptive action to help curb the growth of Amazon‘s Kindle by investing mucho dollars in Barnes and Noble’s Nook device.
Microsoft is going one step further, pre-installing a Nook app in Windows 8 that will help extend the reach of the book chain to the millions of customers who will be running the new operating system.
