This year’s Star Wars Day brings with it happy surprises in the form of more images from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, courtesy of Vanity Fair and Annie Leibovitz!

While visiting the set of SW:TFA, Leibovitz captured some of what she saw, including our first official look at Adam Driver (without a mask) and Lupita Nyong’o.

We see Kylo Ren as played by Driver, along with the first look of Nyong’o as a pirate named Maz Kanata (a full CGI character). Harrison Ford’s return as Han Solo, Abrams says, “I knew that he had done in some movies a kind of more growly thing, and I didn’t want Han to be growly. There was a fire in his eyes that you see in the movie.”

A leaked image from this same shoot confirms the identity of the Star Wars: the Force Awakens chrome trooper as Captain Phasma, whom captions indicate will be portrayed by none other than beloved Brienne of Tarth, Gwendoline Christie.
